WEARABLE TECHNOLOGIES

In recent years, 'smart wearable technologies' or 'wearable devices' have been increasingly used in education. Through embedded wearable computers and technologically advanced digital devices that can be worn on the body, they allow interaction between users and the smart environment anytime and anywhere. Within this context, the Computer Lab has available smart augmented reality glasses that provide unique educational opportunities and immersive experiences.

The aim of the Wearable Technologies Action is:

  • The application of smart glasses in the learning process and examining their impact on learning and teaching.
  • To examine the factors influencing the use of smart glasses by students and teachers and to formulate a model of acceptance of this technology.
  • Cooperation with other laboratories and institutions that have smart glasses and the exchange of good practices of their use in teaching and learning.
  • Conducting training seminars for teachers and students.
