DRONES AND AERIAL ROBOTICS

The aim of the Action "Drones and Aerial Robotics" is to study the impact of the use of drones in teaching and learning with a focus on STEM. The objectives of this action are:

  • To review the literature on the impact of Drones on students' knowledge and the development of various skills.
  • Highlighting good practices in the use of Drones in the learning process.
  • To study the factors influencing the use and acceptance of Drones by students and teachers in formal and informal learning environments.
  • The use and utilization of Drones in STEM activities.

Various types of educational drones are available in the computer lab, such as: a) Ryze Tello EDU, b) Lego Flybrix, c) Makeblock Airblock drone for STEAM education, d) Parrot Beebop 2.

Also available is the DJI First-Person View Drone that combines the technology of drones and smart wearable devices.
